About Me

My photo
Mother Goose and Gear
My name is Rachel Goldmark and I am a ripe age of 22. I was recently diagnosed with Lyme Disease and have been misdiagnosed for over 10 years. Life has had it ups and some very low downs and doing art and different crafts has always given me motivation and comfort. Most days I don't even have the energy to leave my bed but when I can I spend my time creating, sewing, painting, and more. Many of my friends are having babies and I find myself making cute little clothes and different baby toys and items for them. In turn, I decided to start selling them here on etsy. I am sure everyone has been feeling the downfall of the economy and it is definitely hard when I can't work and try to pay for medication and medical bills. Thank god for my family and my fiance. They are my lifeline and life support. They are constantly encouraging me to do what makes me happy. The major thing that has always raised my spirits is seeing a finished product that I made with my own hands. Even better... seeing that item making someone else happy. Babies can never tell a lie and seeing my clothes on them with their big smiles and chubby cheeks... I can't help but love life a little more.

    Get Your Goose in Gear

Mother Goose and Gear creates hand painted eco-friendly baby clothes and essentials. Almost all of our clothes are 100% cotton for the most comfortable clothes for baby.
All of the hand painted designs are unique and designed by Mother Goose and Gear. All of the designs are meant to have a positive message for baby. A lot of the designs are inspired by the Mother Goose's nursery rhymes that have been passed down through each generation. Pass down that wonderful treasure to your baby!
Most of the materials used are upcycled from previous baby items. Babies grow so darn fast it seems like a shame to not upcycle items that are still brand new! Every item has had a lot of love put into it and a new unique design added.

Every piece is one-of-a-kind. No other baby in town will be sporting the exact same design. Mother Goose and Gear guarantees quality clothing and baby essentials that will hold up even with the wear and tear of baby.
